We have a number of other functions and responsibilities. These include:
- our responsibilities under the Freedom of Information Act 1991;
- our responsibilities under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2002;
- reporting on human resources management issues, such as recruitment and selection, staff development, and occupational health, safety and welfare matters;
- public education – which we do by way of publishing documents and giving speeches;
- administering and drafting legislation; and
- ensuring effective and transparent Government procurement decisions.
