The Corporate Plan
The Corporate Plan is our primary planning tool. It articulates our vision, mission and values, as well as the outcomes we hope to achieve for the community and the factors that we have identified as critical to our success.
The development of the Corporate Plan is intrinsically linked to the delivery of government outcomes and ensures that the allocation of resources is directed to the Government’s priorities.
As a result, the Corporate Plan outlines what we will be doing and why, how we are going to do it, and the resources needed. The Corporate Plan is not a static document, it evolves to meet the new priorities and challenges we face.
All staff work together in the corporate planning cycle to frame our strategic direction, to identify our priorities and our strategic challenges and to identify and develop the initiatives we need to achieve our vision and mission. The corporate planning cycle is also used to ensure that our work is directly related to achieving the Government’s outcomes, and that the results of our work are monitored and measured.
