Gaming Control Amendment (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2006 (No. 13 of 2006)
Miscellaneous administrative amendments to improve its efficiency and effectiveness.
Government Prices Oversight Amendment Act 2007 (No. 13 of 2007)
Amendments to the Government Prices Oversight Act 1995 in relation to the regularity of pricing investigations and the robustness of the competitive neutrality complaints investigation process.
Taxation and Related Legislation (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2006 (No. 3 of 2006)
Amends a range of taxation acts to clarify provisions and align them with current practices, and update legislative references.
Gaming Control Amendment (Betting Exchange) Regulations 2006 (S.R. 2006, No. 84)
Made under the provisions of the Gaming Control Act 1993 to provide for guarantee payments to the racing industry.
Racing (Totalizator Betting) Amendment Regulations 2006 (S.R. 2006, No. 49)
Made under the provisions of the Racing (Totalizator Betting) Act 1952 to amend the Racing (Totalizator Betting) Regulations 1976 by extending current provisions that allow TOTE Tasmania to offer betting competitions on simulated horse or greyhound races, to include other racing “objects” (eg cars or aeroplanes).
Separate Budget Appropriations for Independent Agencies
Separate Consolidated Fund appropriations for the Auditor-General, the Ombudsman, the Governor and Parliament in order to clearly distinguish the funding for these independent entities from that of other agencies. No new Bill is necessary.
Retirement Benefits Amendment Regulations 2007 (S.R. 2007, No. 37)
Made under the provisions of the Retirement Benefits Act 1993 to provide for spousal contribution splitting and to tidy up a number of minor provisions in the Retirement Benefits Regulations 2005.
