Executive Committee

The Head of our Agency (Secretary) is responsible for managing the Department. The Executive Committee assists the Secretary to oversee the management of our Department, manage our relationship with stakeholders, oversee the management of our resources and monitor our performance.

Some members of the Executive Committee also attend a weekly meeting with the Treasurer to discuss topical issues and to clarify policy direction. The meetings also provide a forum for monitoring the progress of legislation.

The Executive Committee is made up of the Secretary, the Deputy Secretaries, the Executive Director, Revenue, Gaming and Licensing, and the Director, Corporate Support.

Corporate Management Group

The Corporate Management Group (CMG) manages our corporate planning process and deals with matters of whole-of-department concern or interest. Important functions of the CMG are to determine the strategic tasks that we will undertake; to ensure that the allocation of our resources reflects our overall priorities and the needs of our primary stakeholders; and to monitor our performance against the stated outcomes in our Corporate Plan.

The CMG meets once a month. It consists of the Secretary, the Deputy Secretaries, Division Heads, and all Branch Heads.
