Tasmanian Gaming Commission Responsible Gambling Mandatory Code of Practice

The Responsible Gambling Mandatory Code of Practice for Tasmania was released on 7 September 2011. Version 1.1 was released on 13 December 2011 and can be found here. The Code will commence on 1 March 2012.

Tasmanian Gaming Commission Rules

The Tasmanian Gaming Commission may introduce rules surrounding the conduct of gaming or gaming activities under section 91 of the Gaming Control Act 1993. With the introduction of the Responsible Gambling Mandatory Code of Practice for Tasmania, the rules for all licence holders have been updated to support the Code and provide a framework for regulatory action.

All rules will come into effect along with the Responsible Gambling Mandatory Code of Practice for Tasmania on 1 March 2012 unless stated otherwise. The Tasmanian Gaming Commission rules are outlined below.
