The following signs assist staff of licensed premises and their patrons to comply with relevant legislation and Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Conduct of Gaming principles.
Not all signs are mandatory, but all are intended to help make sure that patrons stay safe and enjoy themselves in licensed premises.

 | Prohibited Area
A prohibited area is an area where young persons under the age of 18 are not to enter under any circumstances or at any time.
This notice must be displayed if the Commissioner for Licensing has designated any part of licensed premises as a prohibited area.
Display this sign in a conspicuous position at each entrance to any part of the designated area.

 | Prove It! No ID – No Entry
This notice is important for staff and patrons as it sets out the acceptable forms of ID, so that staff can ensure that young people do not gain entry to prohibited areas.
Display this notice at the entrance to prohibited areas of licensed premises, particularly night clubs and late night venues, where young persons are not allowed to enter at any time. |
 | Restricted Area
A restricted area is one where young persons are allowed to enter, and remain in, as long as they are in the company of a parent or legal guardian, or are there to have a meal.
This notice must be displayed if the Commissioner for Licensing has designated any part of a licensed premises as a restricted area.
Display this sign in a conspicuous position at each entrance to any part of the designated area.

 | Prove It! No Proof – No Purchase
This notice is important for patrons and staff as it sets out the acceptable forms of ID, so that staff can ensure that young people do not access alcohol.
Display this notice in restricted areas where young persons are allowed entry, but are not allowed to purchase or consume alcohol. |
 | Fine Time
This notice reminds staff and patrons that it is an offence to sell liquor to a person appearing to be drunk and that the sale of liquor to, or purchase/consumption of liquor by, young people is illegal.
Display this notice in a prominent position in all bar areas. |
 | Fine Time (secondary sales)
This notice warns persons who are 18 years old or over not to supply liquor to persons under 18 years old.
Display this notice in a prominent position in all bar areas. |
 | Liquor in Public Streets
This notice informs patrons that taking an open container of liquor into a public street is an offence.
Display this notice at all exits from premises that are licensed to serve liquor to be consumed off the premises (for example, at bottleshops).

 | Fine Time - for Special Liquor Permits
This notice reminds permit holders, servers of alcohol and patrons in permitted premises that it is an offence to sell or supply liquor to a person appearing to be drunk and to a person under 18 years of age.
Display this notice in a prominent position in all bar areas and liquor service areas. |
 | Conditions of Liquor Permit
This notice reminds people attending a permitted premises that liquor can only be consumed in the permit area and not removed from that area.
Display this notice at all exits from a permitted premises and behind bar areas. |

The following signs promote Responsible Service of Alcohol and remind staff and patrons of the important principles.
Gaming Signs
 | Minors prohibited from entering a restricted gaming area
This notice advises patrons that it is an offence for young persons under the age of 18 to enter a gaming area (other than a lounge area where keno is played).
This notice must be displayed in a prominent position viewable from outside the gaming area. |

This notice advises patrons that it is an offence for young persons under the age of 18 to participate in gaming activities.

This notice reminds staff and patrons that it is an offence to extend credit to people where the money will be used for gaming.
