The Tasmanian Government has made the decision to sell via a three stage tender process the site known as ‘parliament square’, Hobart, Tasmania.

The parliament square site comprises eight Government buildings along with part of the Parliamentary Annex:

• 10 Murray Street;
• 12 Murray Street;
• 34 Davey Street;
• 34 West Davey Street;
• 36 Davey Street;
• The Red Brick Building;
• 2-4 Salamanca Place; and
• 6 Salamanca Place.

Given the highly significant location and history of the site, a robust divestment and redevelopment process is being followed to ensure that the outcome meets the Government's commitment to a quality site in keeping with the surrounding precinct.
