Schedule of Hearings and Visits.

In accordance with the Local Government (Financial Assistance) Act 1995 the Commission holds annual hearings which councils and the public are invited to attend.

The timetable for the 2010 Hearings and Visits will be advised in due course.

Current Research Focus
Due to the Commission’s triennial review policy, the Commission intends to spend time reviewing elements of its methodology over the next 3 years with a view to making further adjustments to its distribution model for the 2012-13 distribution year.

The Commission plans to begin by reviewing its roads assessment methodology and councils will be contacted in due course to provide valuable comment and assist with this process.
