The Department of Education will have available surplus demountable buildings at various government school sites across Tasmania. A register will be established and when a building becomes available those registered will be given an opportunity to make an offer.

Not for profit, charities and community organisations may also register and be donated a building but the removal costs outlined below will still apply.

The purchaser will be required to arrange and pay for all costs associated with the removal including; planning and building approvals from Council; removal and termination of services and utilities; clearing of site; removal of any asbestos by a licenced asbestos removalist; cranes; labour; and cartage from site.
