Consideration of community interest matters of the Gaming Control Act 1993

‚ÄčThe Tasmanian Government requested that the Tasmanian Liquor and Gaming Commission, as an independent body, conduct a public consultation process to inform the consideration of community interest matters to be prescribed in regulations for use under the community interest test provisions of the Gaming Control Act 1993.

The Commission has produced a discussion paper which provides information in relation to the types of community interest matters that have been developed by other Australian jurisdictions and those matters that could potentially be prescribed in Tasmania.

The discussion paper inviting public comment is available here.
