Welcome to the Department of Treasury and Finance. This site has been established to provide you with an initial induction to the Department as employees of Renewables, Climate and Future Industries Tasmania. It will be supported by a tailored on-boarding program, once you commence working in ReCFIT.

Key Treasury Policies
Attached below are Key Treasury Policies that you will need to be familiar with on transfer. We recognise that, as existing State Service employees, many of these policies will be consistent with those in your existing agency. They are split into two categories:

COVID-19 Safe Behaviours
Before entering a Treasury workplace you must ensure that you do not have COVID-19 or any symptoms of COVID-19, are not under instruction to quarantine, and you undertake to act in accordance with the following expected behaviours:
- Maintaining 1.5m physical distancing where practicable;
- Following good health and hygiene practices at all times - wash hands regularly, dispose of tissues and used cleaning products in bin, clean any shared equipment after use, and refrain from intentional physical contact e.g. shaking hands;
- Staying at home if unwell and getting tested for COVID-19 if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms; and
- Following any applicable public health restrictions.
Please note that the incident response plan, in the event of an active COVID-19 case on site, is co-ordinated by the Deputy
Secretary, Corporate and Governance, Abigail Shelley.
