​​Treasury's Audit and Risk Management Committee provides independent assurance to the Secretary of the Department of Treasury and Finance on Treasury's financial and perform​ance reporting responsibilities, risk oversight and management systems of internal controls.

From time to time, Treasury seeks expressions of interest from members of the Tasmanian community interested in being considered for appointment to its Audit and Risk Management Committee. These positions will be advertised as they arise, including in the Saturday edition of the three local Tasmanian newspapers.​
