Our legislative responsibilities


Our Department administers 65 pieces of legislation, either in whole or in part. Of these Acts, 25​ are in the Treasurer’s portfolio, 38​​ are in the Minister for Finance's portfolio, one is in the Minister for Planning’s portfolio and one is in the Minister for Energy’s portfolio.  Administration of some legislation is shared with other agencies, and this is indicated in the table below.
