​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Under the State's reporting framework, September, December and March quarterly reports are required to be published. A Preliminary Outcomes Report is prepared if the preliminary result differs materially from the revised estimates published in the Budget Papers. Since 2012-13, the December Quarterly Report has been included in the Revised Estimates Report.

With the exception of 2013-14, 2019-20, 2020-21, and 2023-24 the March Quarterly Report has been included in th​e Budget Papers.
