The Government released the Government Business Governance Reform - Draft Plan on 3 November 2024.
Submissions closed on 13 December 2024 and can be viewed on the Draft Plan Submissions page.
The following provides a summary of the feedback received during consultation:

The Government has now released the draft Government Business Governance Reforms Bill 2025 containing the first tranche of legislative reforms for public consultation.
The Government is seeking feedback on the draft legislation by 17 April 2025.
Treasury will publish all written submissions on the Treasury website, including your name, unless you indicate that you would like all or part of your submission to be treated as confidential.
- Submissions can be made:
- via email at governmentbusinesses@treasury.tas.gov.au; or
- through post to the Shareholder Policy and Markets Branch, Department of Treasury and Finance at GPO Box 147, Hobart, Tasmania, 7001.
