Rules and Conditions - Tassie's Best Punter

Authorisations to conduct minor gaming activities, including Tassie's Best Punter are issued subject to the provisions of the Gaming Control Act 1993 and to any directions given by the Tasmanian Liquor and Gaming Commission. In accordance with the Gaming Control Act 1993 the rules and conditions of Tassie's Best Punter are as follows:
 

RULES AND CONDITIONS:
1.
A minor gaming permit is required to conduct the game.
2.
Persons under the age of eighteen years may not participate in the game.
3.
The cost of entry to each participant must be equal and that the cost must not exceed $100.
4.
The allotment of 'play money' is to be the same for each participant.
5.
A person may only enter once for each game.
6.
There shall be no betting between participants
7.
There shall be no exchanging of 'play money' between participants.
8.
The game may be conducted over more than one session with a predetermined number of participants progressing to the next session.
9.
Participants are to place 'play money' bets on nominated horse races or sporting events conducted during the session.
10.
Winners will be determined by ranking the participants with the highest accumulated 'play money' total at the end of the designated betting session.
11.
A participant must 'wager' at least 50% of their allotted 'play money' during a session.
12.
All entry fees, without any deduction, will contribute to the total prize pool and will be distributed as prizes.
13.
The total prize pool must not exceed $10 000.
14.
Any one game must be concluded within two sessions held during a time period of no longer than eight (8) days.
RECORDS TO BE RETAINED
15.
All records in relation to this game must be retained for a minimum of seven (7) years.
