Venue licence

​​You need a venue licence if you intend to operate Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs) and/or keno at your venue. 


Preparing a full and complete application will take time and incomplete applications cannot be assessed. 

Who can apply for a venue licence 

The applicant of a venue licence can be an individual (sole trader), a partnership or an entity (company or trust). 

The applicant must provide evidence they have a legal right to occupy the premises they are applying to hold the licence at. An example of evidence is a lease or title held in the name of the applicant.
 

 

Associate details

Associates must complete an online associate details form before a venue licence application can be submitted. Venues cannot submit their venue licence application without all associate detail forms.
