Responsible Conduct of Gambling
Page Content
It is a condition of every special employee licence that the individual must undertake a Responsible Conduct of Gambling course approved by the Tasmanian Liquor and Gaming Commission within three months of being licensed.
The Responsible Conduct of Gambling course involves a thorough knowledge of the Tasmanian Gambling Exclusion Scheme. Information regarding the scheme and the online database is available here.
Responsible Conduct of Gambling course
The Commission will only recognise courses that deliver the national competency SITHGAM001 - Provide responsible gambling services (or its earlier version SITHGAM201) conducted by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), as prerequisite training for special employee licences.
In addition, to maintain the responsible conduct of gambling competency, every special employee is required to undertake a Responsible Conduct of Gambling course with a registered training organisation every five years.
