Director and Assistant Directors

The Office of the Superannuation Commission (OSC) is a branch of the Department of Treasury and Finance. The OSC supports the Superannuation Commission (the Trustee of the Retirement Benefits Fund) with the day to day running of the defined benefit schemes. There are offices in both Hobart and Launceston and member interviews are also available in both Burnie and Devonport by appointment.

​Jenny Cosgrove BEc (Hons), GDAFI, CFA

Director, Office of the Superannuation Commission

Tenure: Appointed 12 January 2022

Experience and expertise

Jenny has significant global investment experience and expertise in regulated entities, particularly electricity and financial markets. She has previously held senior positions including with HSBC (Hong Kong), Credit Suisse and Macquarie Bank. Jenny is a Chartered Financial Analyst, with a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and a Bachelor of Economics with Honours.


Peter Wise BA LLB

Assistant Director, Office of the Superannuation Commission

Tenure: Appointed 1 April 2017

Experience and expertise

Between March 1997 and March 2017, Peter was employed by the Retirement Benefits Fund Board in a range of positions. Peter has held the role of Assistant Director Fund Governance with the Office of the Superannuation Commission since 1 April 2017.

Judith Keith CA

Assistant Director, Operations

Tenure: Appointed 18 May 2020

Experience and expertise

Judith has held the position of Assistant Director (Operations) since 1 April 2017 and was previously employed by the Retirement Benefits Fund Board from May 2011 as Manager, Product and Administration. Judith has also previously held various senior management roles within the financial services and management consulting industries.

 

Jacquie Shea BCom

Assistant Director, Member Services

Tenure: Appointed 5 June 2017

Experience and expertise

Jacquie has a strong background in the banking and finance industry in which she has held a range of positions. Jacquie has been employed by the Department of Treasury and Finance for more than 10 years, working in areas relating to regulation, compliance, research, policy analysis and development. During this time Jacquie has also attained qualifications in public sector management, policy development and project management.
