Page Content
- For Tasmanian Ambulance Service Superannuation Scheme (TASSS) Members only
- The information below only affects employer contributions. Members Contributions will continue to be paid from member salaries by their employer as noted on the employer pay advice.
- There is no impact on member benefits.
Effective from 1 July 2025, the Superannuation Commission, following advice from the State Actuary and in accordance with regulation 129 of the PSSR Regulations, has determined that employer superannuation contributions to the TASSS will be suspended.
As the TASSS operates as a defined benefit superannuation Scheme, this suspension does not affect member benefit amounts or entitlements. The reduction in employer contributions from 5% to 0% simply changes the payment arrangements between the Fund and the Employer and has no impact on members' benefits.
